How to enable JavaScript in your browser

 

To log in and use Telstra ‘My Account’, you’ll need to have JavaScript enabled in your web browser. To check, just choose your browser type and follow the instructions below:

 

Google Chrome (19+)

  1. Click the spanner icon in the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Show advanced settings at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click Content Settings in the 'Privacy section.'
  5. Select Allow all sites to run JavaScript in the 'JavaScript' section.

Mozilla Firefox (13+)

  1. Select Tools from the top menu (press the Alt key if it is not visible).
  2. Choose Options.
  3. Choose Content from the top navigation.
  4. Select the checkbox next to Enable JavaScript and click OK.

Internet Explorer (9+)

  1. Select Tools from the top menu (press the Alt key if it is not visible).
  2. Choose Internet Options.
  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. Click Custom Level.
  5. Scroll down to the 'Scripting' section.
  6. Under 'Active Scripting' select Enable and click OK. Click OK again.

Safari (5+)

  1. Open the Edit menu in the browser toolbar (press the Alt key if it is not visible).
  2. Choose Preferences.
  3. Choose Security.
  4. Select the checkbox next to Enable JavaScript.

 

Please keep in mind that upgrading your browser or installing new security software or patches may affect your JavaScript settings. You may need to enable these settings again to log in to My Account.

The Chrome settings are the ones to use for the Opera browser.
