Number won't port to new sim in iPhone 5s

New phone yesterday. Phone number was already Telstra. Lady at Telstra said I didn't have to do anything other than wait for my number to port. This was 5pm yesterday. 26hours later new phone still not working.

Hi Paigepaige, 

To clarify, you were already with Telstra & recontracted onto a new plan & got a new phone?

It's possible for these orders to take up to 48 hours in some cases. I'd suggest to contact us on 132200 & we'll be able to check the status of this for you. 

Are you still able to use your old SIM in the interim?
