Just got a text message from telstra i

How do I know this is from telstra following is the text message 

 

""Hi, when online recently, you asked us to update your contact details. We've done that for you. Don't know why you're getting this SMS? Visit http://tel.st/a2mj""

Have you recently been online to update your contact details?

If you haven't, I'd suggest speaking to the Billing team on 132200 to see if someone has had access to your Account and changed your contact details.

 

When I changed my contact details online I received that text message and also an email.

I am NOT a Telstra employee and never have been. However, I AM a customer who volunteer's my time in the hope to help someone with their question.

hi thank you for your response.  I did make some changes and apologise for the slow response because my internet service keeps dropping out now that is another issue.
