Recently we became aware of an issue regarding the "Track My Order" function provided on telstra.com and through MyAccount.
Last night we deployed a fix that shall allow anyone with a new 14 character order number "x-xxxxxxxxxx" to be able to view it online.

Sadly though all it returns for me (with the new length) is:
I have just had a check of the system and was able to recieve a response without any issues.
The order number should fit the format of "1-xxxxxxxxxxxx"

I have been told there is a problem finding my order, which I made online today. I've been told to ring Telstra but I am in New Zealand, isn't there some other way of tracking my order?
Orders placed online will have an online order number initially. Once they are processed you will be notified with an order number in the format 1-1.
Before this is done the team that can look them up is only available over the phone, regrettably. You can try Live Chat (link in my signature) and they may be able to call the online store team for you.
