ADSL

Just had an Email from Telstra advising that I am near my Download limit and if I exceed it I will be slowed to 256Kbs.

Is this speed guaranteed as most times my internet is slower than this?

Thanks

John

Re: ADSL

Hi John, the speed restriction is a maximum 256 kbps until the end of the billing period. You can remove this restriction up to three times per year - more information can be found at How To Use Home Broadband Free Data Top-ups.

Your connection speeds can be affected by a range of factors, such as your line quality and distance to the exchange or hub and network traffic to the sites or services you use online. The information at http://tel.st/4mu5 can help troubleshoot some common speed problems, and our tech teams on 133 933 would be best to contact for further investigation and assistance as needed
