A knowledge base is a collection of information collated from various topics across the community that have been nominated by the community as important and useful. Knowledge base articles have been checked and refined by Community Leaders to ensure all information is relevant and factual.
How can I view a knowledge base?
You can view Knowledge Base articles in a number of different ways.
View knowledge Base articles within specific boards
Each board has 3 tabs available at the top. By selecting the “Best Answers” tab you’ll see all Verified Answers (Knowledge Base articles) as well as accepted solutions.
Search for a Knowledge Base Article
At the top of the community you’ll see a search bar. On the right hand side of this is a down arrow that if you hover over, will allow you to select to search for Knowledge Base articles.
Go directly to the Knowledge Base
On the home page of CrowdSupport, you’ll see a number of options on the right hand side. Once of these will be “Community Knowledge Base” which will link you directly to every board containing a Knowledge Base article
How do I nominate content for a knowledge base article?
If you come across some content that you think is great and will benefit the rest of the community, nominate it for a Knowledge Base article. Doing so is easy.
Can I contribute to a Knowledge Base Article?
If you think you can contribute to a Knowledge Base article then you’re more than welcome to send a private message to any of the contributors asking if they can add your information in.
You can also nominate topics within the community (including your own) to become a Knowledge Base Article.
