How to register for extra mobile data during COVID-19

We're giving our post-paid consumer and small business customers extra data when they register before 19 April 2020 to support working and studying from home or self-isolating, as part of the national response to COVID-19.

 

Post-paid mobile and mobile broadband customers can get an extra 25GB of data on their plan to use in Australia within 30 days.

Having trouble registering through the My Telstra app?

Make sure you’re using the latest version of the app, and that you’re logged in using your Telstra ID.

 

Alternatively, you can register your details here to get extra data.

 

We'll send you an SMS to confirm once it's been applied to your account - it should take about 48 hours. It will be available within 48 hours and you'll be notified by SMS once it's been applied. Ineligible phone numbers won't receive a notification.

Have Telstra Home Internet?

We're providing unlimited data for our personal and small business customers with home broadband plans (ADSL, nbn and cable).

 

You don't need to do anything. The data will be provided automatically, at no extra charge. Until 30 April 2020. Our FairPlay policy applies.

 

 

Things you need to know

Mobile/Mobile broadband offer: Data applied within 48 hours of request and expires 30 days after bestowal. Register via Telstra 24x7/My Telstra Apps before 19 April 2020.
