Re: Continous $4.99 Telstra charge on my Credit Card Statement

I have a continuous $4.99 charge appearing on my credit card for a service I never agreed to. When I have tried to cancel this fictitious charge it tells me to subscribe to the service. Please reverse all charges.

Regards

Seppi

What is the description next to the charge on your statement? The support staff need to know this in order to let you know how to cancel (there are 3 different systems each with a different description and method of cancellation).

I have two different descriptions;
1. Telstra Applications Melbourne and now
2. SDF Australia

Re: Continous $4.99 Telstra charge on my Credit Card Statement

The Telstra Applications Melbourne reference means that the subscription was taken out through the website and would need to be cancelled via the website.

Not sure about the SDF Australia reference, I've only seen that one as a credit card verification transaction (usually $1) that should have a corresponding reversal.
