AFL App Scanning Clipboard
Just wondering why the AFL Live app is scanning my clipboard on the iPhone?
There is no good reason as to why the app is checking this, and if there is it should be disabled by default.
Was this helpful?
- Yes it was, thank you
- No, I still need help
Re: AFL App Scanning Clipboard
Thanks for your messaging us on Crowd Support.
Due to a recent iOS 14 update, apps that have the ability to auto-fill content copied to your clipboard from other apps notify you when there is content available to paste.
Because the AFL App has a search box to search videos and can paste from your clipboard, a notification that content that can be pasted from other apps is received.
We are working on an update so the notification is received only when using the search function, rather than when the app opens.
To clarify, there is no way for the app to use what is on your clipboard unless it has been pasted into the search bar.
