Deleting Ringtone.
I have a Telstra Frontier T81 android phone and I have the following problem. I wish to get rid of the ringtone (the ringtone the incoming caller can hear) that occurs when a person is phoning me. The incoming caller can hear the ringtone (AFL club song) with the incoming dial "beep" disappearing after 2 to 3 rings. Incoming callers have told me that they think the phone has cut off and subsequently hang up. I have searched the 'manual" to try to delete this ringtone, but I haven't been able to find the solution. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Cheers Bob

Re: Deleting Ringtone.
Hi Bob,
This is something that you need to deactivate yourself via your phone. What you have is called a Caller Tone rather than a ring tone (which is why you might have had issues finding information on how to stop it. Follow these instructions and it should stop the caller tone:
- Go to http://m.bigpond.com while connected to 3G on your iPhone
- Select the "My" Tab, then "My Mobile Content", then "Purchases", then "My Caller Tone Subscriptions"
-go to "My Tones" using the button on the top right of the screen"
- Cancel any Subscriptions you don't want
