I have an Oppo Mobile phone A1601.

The Oppo Mobile phone A1601 I have does not send or receive calls.  All other internet and messages are working.  I have an Aldi sim card which has been tested in another phone and it worked. What could be causing this problem.

Do you have the settings set to 4G only or potentially in a 4G only area?

 

It supports Telstra 3G band so working for calls but working for data means it is connecting to 4G successfully but isn’t connecting to VoLTE (could be a setting or could be not supported).

 

Doesn’t look like it was a phone Telstra had so wouldn’t have Telstra firmware where those would have been enabled by standard.
