Locked or unlocked?

Answered

I recently purchase a Telstra Essential Pro phone from the post office. It came with its own SIM card, which I haven’t activated. However, I have inserted my own post paid SIM card (linked to an existing Telstra contract) Into the phone.

is the new phone locked to Telstra?

Hi Mezdrum, thanks for getting in touch and welcome to CrowdSupport!

The Essential Pro Phone is locked to the Telstra network as a heads up. Your post paid Telstra SIM shouldn't have any issues.
