No ringing sound is heard on the Telstra Essential Plus phone

There is no sound on the Telstra Essential Plus phone I purchased. E.g. I can ring out but I hear nothing yet the person on the other end can her me.

I can not hear the ringtone when someone is ringing me.

The phone might be set to do not disturb or on vibrate mode only.

Are your volume settings up?

You can try a factory reset but back  up any data.

Has the phone ever worked on Telstra properly?

You may have a faulty speaker???

Thank you, it was on vibrate as well as set to call out & in via the use of earphones. Thank you for your assistance.
