No signal overseas

My wife took here pre paid phone (Telstra 4gx buzz) to Indonesia and Singapore with her. On arrival there were no messages from Telstra which she thought was unusual and could only get emergency calls only she got fed up and only tried a few more times bad then put it away. On arrival home all the emails and text messages I sent came onto the phone. I have checked on the Telstra website about roaming and followed the checks to see if it was indeed on roaming, used the 24/7 app and account and there is no check for roaming been on or off. Can anybody help

Hey Alan,

 

International roaming should be activated automatically for most pre-paid services. For some older services, this may not be the case. In which case you can do this online: https://say.telstra.com.au/customer/general/forms/activate-international-roaming

 

However I would recommend speaking with our team on  http://tel.st/hsc3 if possible, so we can review your account.
