Wi-fi Calling: Complete/detailed list of compatible handsets

Is there a complete list of compatible handsets for wi-fi calling?

My home is a dead spot for coverage, and I am looking at buying a new handset that supports wi-fi calling.

The list detailed in https://www.telstra.com.au/coverage-networks/mobile-technology#wificalling?ti=TD_fr_cs_tcom_wificall... is too vague to make a buying decision.

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

It's not vague at all. If you buy a Samsung (Galaxy/Note), Apple, Google (Pixel) or LG handset from Telstra, then it will be compatible with WiFi calling.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Yes, it is vague...which Galaxy series? For example, are the A or J series compatible? and if so, which models?

The A series replaced the J series and the A series is VoWifi capable.
