**Telstra Thanks benefits, such as discounted movie tickets, discounted sport tickets and pre-sale concert tickets have moved to Telstra Plus.**

We like to give back to our customers whenever we can. That's why we created the Telstra Thanks® Loyalty program. It's all about giving you a range of exclusive experiences, just for being with us. Our Telstra Thanks Movies Tickets have been a key part of this program, with millions of discounted movie tickets redeemed since February 2013.

On November 1, our Telstra Thanks Movie ticket prices will be updated to reflect the price rise of adult tickets at the box office. The new standard ticket price will be $12.50, while blockbusters can be enjoyed at Vmax for $16.50.

We understand there is never a good time to increase prices. However, you’ll still benefit from an average saving of $8.50 by purchasing movie tickets online with Telstra Thanks at telstra.com/movies or via the Telstra 24x7 App.

You can also find more great rewards including access to pre-sale music and sporting events at telstra.com/thanks

Which cinemas are participating?
Event Cinemas, Greater Union, Birch Carroll & Coyle, Village Cinemas and Moonlight Cinemas in Australia only.

When can I use Thanks Movies discounts?
Tickets are valid for sessions any day of the week, except after 5pm on Saturdays or on public holidays.

What is the candy bar upgrade?
A free upgrade on your medium popcorn and soft drink combo to a large popcorn and soft drink combo. Covers standard candy bar combos only.

With this offer can I go to Vmax, 3D or Gold Class or special screenings?
Tickets are valid for Vmax cinemas and 3D screenings with the payment of standard surcharges for those sessions. Tickets can't be used for Gold Class, special events, movie marathons and alternative content.

How many tickets can I purchase?
The purchase of tickets is strictly dependent upon availability and a maximum of 10 tickets purchased in a single transaction – although there is no limit on the number of transactions you can make.

How do I return the tickets I purchased ?

You would need to speak to the cinema directly about your particular circumstances and if a refund is warranted. However, I should warn you that movie tickets are typically non-refundable.

Hi

Your tabs in the Telstra Thanks - Movie tickets are  misleading and misguiding. I have used your Telstra Thanks- Movie tickets in the past and the website was never as confusing as this.

You need to make your website less ambigious. We are all busy people and expect your site/s to be easy to read and understand.

We trust you to guide us well not misguide and confuse. Too many options given to customers.

Hi ameetha

Can you explain what you mean by the tabs being misleading and misguiding - and which tabs specifically you're unhappy with.

- Tabs are slow, they take over few seconds to load. They won't tell you that they are loading (no loading... Text in those dropdowns) - if I change my price of tickets (12.50, vmax, 3d and bla bla), I have to start the whole process again? Getting users to complete their task with least number of clicks is better design. - you are better off putting 2D and 3D after a movie title. There has been times when I looked for a movie but title starts with 2d (at the start). But some in cases it's far down.

Hello, I tried to get tickets today through the app and it didn't work, do you know why? Thank you. It's happened a few times before.

Hi tcj72

Can you tell us what's happening when you try and purchase the tickets?

Any error messages for example, or where does it fail. We need as much info as you can give us to be able to work out what's happening.

Hi    I have just paid for my tickets using Paypal and printed out my barcoded ticket.   Under Next Steps it tells me I should bring along the gift card, voucher or credit card I used to purchase my tickets, otherwise I may not be admitted.    But I paid with PayPal so what should I bring along with me?
