Apple Watch SE and Telstra One Number

Hi! I’m at my wits end with this problem... I purchased a new Apple Watch SE two weeks ago (6/2) and was successful in setting up my Telstra One and mobile connection at the time. Two days ago I attempted to use my watch without my phone in range and no calls or text would go through! I have since cancelled my Telstra One and I have no luck in activating it again. When I attempt do I have the error message ‘Your Telstra account is not eligible to enable mobile data on your Apple Watch. Contact Telstra on 132 200 for more information.’. I’ve been in store, spoken to chat representatives and even on the phone. Each person assures me my account should be eligible for a Telstra One number, that mobile protect is deactivated and that I only have the one personal account. My SIM was purchased initially from JB-HI-FI. I’m not sure if that makes a difference.. Can anyone please help! Telstra seem to have no idea how to fix this issue.
