Flagged folders in Bigpond

On my Apple MacBook, I have deleted all the emails that I no longer need from flagged folders and they are empty, but the folders are still showing that there are 13 and 16 emails in them. I am using my Bigpond account for emails. How do I delete the flagged folder please?

Re: Flagged folders in Bigpond

Are you using an IMAP or POP connection to the server?.

It could be worth logging into Telstra WebMail so see if the emails are still on the Mail server.

Sorry it’s taken so long to respond. I’ve had outages and problems with internet all week.
I’m using IMAP connection. I’ve checked Telstra Webmail and the emails are gone and the folders do not appear.

Using IMAP connection, the clients should all be synchronised & reflect the same contents.

From what you have said, Telstra WebMail depicts the correct empty Mail folders, thus indicating that your aforementioned issue is local to your Mac.
