How do I fix Voicemail to MMS?

Optus voicemail arrived on my phone as an audio wave file text message from the person who left the message, as if they had held down the mic button to text me.

With Telstra, I have activated Voicemail instead of voice2text by Dialing **004*101# from my Telstra mobile, then texted 'audio on' to 144 as shown here: https://crowdsupport.telstra.com.au/t5/samsung/receive-sound-files-from-messagebank-on-note-10/m-p/8...

Unfortunately after calling myself to test it, I received a text message from myself that said, 'You missed a call, but the caller did not leave a message' and also the recorded message I left on messagebank arrived in my iphone's voicemail bin. I assume all messages will be dumped on top of each other like this. How do I fix it so it works like Optus please?
