Hp Deskjet shows in Gateway settings with printer sharing enabled, still not working?

Trying to connect HP Deskjet 3520 via USB to my Telstra Gateway Modem so we can print from anywhere in the house. On the Gateway Modem 'Advanced Settings' it has Printer SHaring and when clicked the printer is shown and all looks good. But when I go to add printer to computer via Settings - it doesn't show up...?

How can I make this work?

Or is there an easier/quicker/another way to make this wireless.

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

The printer has to be added manually. There are instructions for doing this in section 30 of the document linked in these posts.
