IMAP server issue

Hi, am getting an error message when using email on iPhone. IMAP server issue. Msg reads -  ( The mail server IMAP.telstra.com is not responding. Verify you have entered correct account info in Mail settings).

Can send an email but haven't received any since Sunday. No phone help by T and can't follow the self help guides online as not techno savvy. Any ideas appreciated.
