Re: iPad 7th gen

Please be very careful as QR codes can be used for ulterior purposes eg scams etc

Re: iPad 7th gen

The iPad was working fine till the SIM card was removed! Put the SIM card back settings

mobile data

add mobile sim plan

scan QR code

is there a way to bi-pass this and have access to Internet on the iPad?

thanks

Re: iPad 7th gen

Hello  again

If you haven't already done so....please reboot the iPad and try again.

The iPad should be off when you insert the sim.

Presumably its the same sim

Re: iPad 7th gen

Hello... I'm not an Apple specialist and you may have to either ring Apple support or make a website appointment for their Genius Bar.

To the best of my knowledge an Apple device will ask for a QR code is if you're using an E Sim ... not a normal sim.

It would eliminate your sim being faulty if you could try to insert a different sim.

The only other advice I myself can think of tonight is if you can do a Network Reset and reboot.

Your sim may have become faulty during the removal and reinsertion.... that's why you need to try another sim.

Unless another of the contributors offers a different solution ... you'll  need to contact Apple.

Thanks P.P.
