Sim activation

Still waiting for SIM card activation EIGHTEEN hours after the Telstra store colleague told me it would take 5-15’ mins. I am so disappointed. Each time I contacted Telstra to follow up and explained I couldn’t use my phone yet they said they needed to verify my details and would SMS me a code. BUT I CANT USE MY phone because the SIM card is not activated. So fantastically frustrating. And yes, I’ve been turning my phone on and off every 2 hours or so.
