I am confused as to why you are changing this service and just change the name if there is no benefit for you 


anyway I have now decided to discontinue my stay connected  and would like you to take this charge off my bill

You could remove Stay Connected by contacting Telstra Support, by calling 132200, or chatting to them via the My Telstra app or the My Telstra section of the Telstra website.

Set it & forget it
