Telstra one number not connecting to Apple Watch series 5

so when I got the watch online through Telstra I was happy series 5 Apple Watch paired the watch and updated it got connected to sign up to the Telstra one number subscription and couldn’t connect it it’s been cancelled and reput back on reset and unpaired Watch from the app many times the maddington Apple store blamed Apple but it’s actually Telstra why am I getting charged $5 a month for something that can’t connect to the Apple Watch I would like to know please because it’s frustrating Telstra is passing the buck fix this please
