Terrible call quality in Balmain Sydney
For the last 13 months Telstra 4G mobile has had terrible call quality in Balmain Sydney. Callers can’t hear me at all as the line cuts out repeatedly. The mobile coverage bars range from 1 bar to 3. I’ve called Telstra and logged as an issue months ago but no solution. Now they don’t even answer phone or reply to the useless messaging service in the Telstra app. Any solutions ? Or should I just try another mobile service ?

Have you compared the reception on your phone with a friend/relative or colleagues Telstra phone?
Can you put your sim in another phone to verify whether it's the transmitted signal or the phone's ability to receive in a heavily built up area?
Lots of similar complaints end up being a phone/device's actual receiver issue in a specific phone.
I've been involved for decades with mobile phones and two way radios, and the most common reason is a poor receiver in a phone that works adequately with a stronger signal.
Does it happen in just one building? Inside or outside? Are you stationary or walking?
