A family member had iPhone 8 Plus on a plan with Telstra she upgraded and got a new phone I bought the 8plus of her my pre paid Telstra sim worked for a week then nothing only sos only but it works with another provider sim how can I use it with Telstra sim again or what do I need to do

It is not network locked as it can be used with another provider and phones bought on a plan have not been network locked for years.

The most likely cause is a faulty SIM. Go in to your nearest Telstra Store and they can swap it over on the spot.
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Thanks she was told she could keep phone but the sales man who upgraded her plan put the phone under lost/stolen is there any way I can fix this as no other Telstra sim will work in it and I’m currently using another sim provider

I would try a factory reset and make a new samsung account

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.

Setup direct debit
