Voicemail on iPhone 3g

Answered

I recently was given an old iPhone 3g that was previously used on a Telstra plan. When I try to use my prepaid sim card from another phone in it and try to call Messagebank 101 it says that that number is not available from this service. I had already set it up on my old phone so I presume that it is an iPhone thing. From what I have read in some forums it could be that Telstra don't support Voicemail on an iPhone for a pre-paid sim. Can anyone confirm this?

Re: Voicemail on iPhone 3g

That is a Service issue, has nothing to do with the iPhone.

You will likely need to contact 13 22 00 and say "PrePaid" and get them to re-enable messagebank

Re: Voicemail on iPhone 3g

That fixed it, but weird that just by putting a SIM into an iPhone the messagebank service would be disabled.

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.
