I still have 9 months left until my iPhone XS plan before it expires (post paid) but I have purchased a new iPhone 11 outright and set this up as my new phone. I have given my iPhone XS to one of my kids but their SIM card from their current phone won’t work in the XS.
We contacted the supplier of their sim and they seem to think my XS may be locked if still on a plan but when I checked through the Telstra website it appears it isn’t locked and the other sim should just work when installed. Does anyone know how I can tell for sure if my iPhone is locked or why the other sim won’t work in the XS?
