Automatic payments over two cards

I work for a USA based company for which I have a USA issued credit card to pay for expenses.  How can I set up an automatic payment where I use the USA card to pay $AUD90 for my internet and then another payment where i pay the difference, for foxtel and the like.  Currently I auto pay from my bank a guessed amount for the bill monthly, then manually pay the $90 by card.  I then have to reconcile my account periodically as I end up being over or under.

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you

Re: Automatic payments over two cards

I don't think that Telstra's system can handle more than one automatic payment through its system.

If you have Bpay as an available payment option, then you could set up your guessed amount using that and then set up the automatic payment using the card.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.
