Bill charges

I want to pay my bill online but don't want to be charged a fee. I am a pensioner. How do I get an exemption?

Contact Telstra Support using a chat in the My Telstra app and check that Telstra have your pension details. That should entitle you to a fee exemption.


Alternatively, you could set up direct debit as your payment method.

As Dowser mentioned, the best thing to do would be to chat with our support team so we can double check your details and get anything needed set up on the account. You can contact us on 13 22 00, or through the My Telstra app ( by heading to the "Get Help" tab and clicking the blue message icon to get started.
