Has a paper bill been removed?

Answered

Dear Sir/Madam,

                           How's things?,

I just got my bill notice by email and and Telstra want's me to pay online and i still prefer going to my local post office or my local Telstra shop in person with my bill and pay instead as i am not into having an online account nor have any other associations by having my bill paid automatically by computer from even by Centrelink because they are no longer in my local shopping Centre but are in another suburb far away and don't fancy losing my time by bus in travelling to get there .I don't even have a credit card nor visa card nor American Express Card, just have money ready for my bill of $99.Can yo please continue with paper billing for now..

You can access your bills on the phone using the My Telstra app > Payments > Download bill

You can then present the barcode contained therein at the post office and pay using cash as previously.  I have done this myself.

You can probably do the same with the emailed bills.

Hello,

Crowd Support is not Telstra Customer Service, and we are mostly customers like you.   No one here has account access, and you'll have to go through the (painful)   process of trying to communicate with Customer Service.

You will need to use the Telstra App and click on Get Help and send a message that you need to speak to a human being. You will then have to wait for some time for them to respond through the app.

I'm sorry, but I am just relaying their process.

Re: Has a paper bill been removed?

Hey @maroner

Telstra are being pressured like all company's to move to a more sustainable future. You can read about that here: https://exchange.telstra.com.au/sustainability-2020/

While you can contact Telstra to revert you back to paper billing - moving forward Telstra will be pushing for email billing and direct debit (which can use a BSB and account number)

If you head to your local Telstra Store or contact Telstra via 13 22 00 or My Telstra they should be able to add these details in for you.

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.

Setup direct debit
