How to stop SMS bill notifications?

Hi. Telstra has recently started sending me notifications by SMS regarding bill availability for my home internet, which is always paid in full by direct debit. The SMS notifications of bill availability are annoying and were never asked for. Any suggestions on how I can get them to stop?

You could try logging into the webpage  and selecting your choices.

I went to the page you have in your reply but SMS notification was already selected as off... YET I still receive SMS notifications.  Your solution does not work.

I suggest that you toggle the setting and either wait and see if that corrects the situation, or you could contact Telstra Support via the Get help section of the My Telstra app or call 132200 (9am - 8pm AEST Weekdays).

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.
