Incorrect data usage

I had 1.8gigs of prepaid data. I checked my bank account via the commbank app & all my data was used. Why would that happen?

Sorry to hear of the data usage concern. 

What type of handset do you have?  
In settings under data usage have you been able to check usage for that specific period? It will list all usage for each individual app to help get an understanding of what has been used.
