iPhone 6 Plus first billing

Ok, I just received my first billing for my iphone 6 plus on M plan yesterday telling my payment of $95 is due in 19th Nov.

 

The thing is my number was ported and activated on 29th Oct. 

 

So it not even a months(22days) between my billing and activation I have to pay the full amount.

 

Told over the phone that this charge due for 19th Nov is for prepayment for next months.

INT 1-313902159146 [NICA] Employee Number: D747249, she was kind of rude and was in hurry to just drop the phone call (feeling like she wasn''t willing to help and just rushing is there anything else else??)

 

I though this is post pay not prepaid. Is this how it works?

 

Also I moved from vodafone and know about  new customer gets $200 welcome credit, and she just told me to wait for that and I will get it.

 

I asked do I have to pay for my first billing or does credit come in, and she just mumbled and told me if there is problem with billing call her again? what???

 

Lastly on 29th of Sep, I was promised with $100 itune card by email but I stil haven't got update on this as well.

So many mix ups and I have no idea what is going on.

I do not wish to pay for full amount for just 22 day of usuage.

Hi LUFEE84,

When you start a new plan, you're charged from when the service is activated until the end of your billing PLUS a month in advance.

This is called pro rata & happens to every post paid customer

I've sent you a PM in regards to the voucher. 

The welcome credit will appear under the Other Charges and Credit section as ‘Customer Value Bonus’ and will be applied by the second Telstra bill.
