Questionable telstra contact

Answered
Hi, today I received an email from telstra demanding I update my payment method as my current details have expired. It suggests that I follow the link to sort it out.
Does telstra send out this type of demand or would it be suspect?

It wouldn't be typical.

Normally they wouldn't send email with links asking for updated information.

If you are unsure if things are updated you can check yourself at http://tel.st/myacc/
