tax invoice for phone purchase

Hello, 

 

I need a tax invoice for My order F21011250186463.

In my account online and the Telstra app, it says "Nothing to see here" under Payments and Payment History. There is nowhere I can find this and the silly assistant has bee programmed to put me in a nested loop of circular logic.

Other people have posted the same problem and it hasn't yet been solved.. 

I have an order confirmation, but this is not a proper tax invoice. Can you please email me the invoice as soon as possible? 

Don't forget you're obligated to provide the tax invoice within 28 days of this request.

Your request for a tax invoice via this forum does not constitute a request as Crowdsupport is a Customer2Customer Forum, not a formal Telstra Customer Support Option.

 

To put in a request for receipt, you need to call 132200 or send a message by either:

  • the My Telstra app on your mobile
  • logging into your account via the telstra.com.au website

and then go to the Get Help tab and click on the blue icon at the bottom of the screen (labelled Message Us on the website, icon only on app). If the bot doesn't understand the query, type "Speak to a consultant" and you should be transferred to the queue to chat with a human. It can take a few hours to get an initial response. If you use the app, you will get a notification on your mobile when someone responds.

 

But the order confirmation is normally considered to be a Tax Invoice as it contains the details that the ATO requires for it to be accepted as such.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Does it provide more information under My Telstra app > Get help > Track my orders >  Order history ?.
