Telstra account hacked

Hi, my Tesltra account has been hacked, they have logged in and changed my password, my billing address and apparently my drivers licence number (how would Telstra let someone alter D/L number online)?

I called 132200 and they told me I needed to go into a Tesltra store. I went to a Tesltra store and they advised they were unable to assist and to call 132200?? 

What do I have to do to get control of my account again?

You can't change your drivers licence number yourself. That would require a consultant as it isn't accessible through the customer portal. 

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

When I rang the 132200 they told me the drivers licence number associated with the account was not mine and also that the billing address had been changed. I tried to access the account but they obviously changed the password as soon as they gained access?

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.
