Telstra NBN installed in right place, but new account created at neighbours address!!
This is a nightmare situation - was told we had to move to NBN from regular cable broadband. Have an existing account, but when the technician came to install somehow created an entirely new account, linked to the address of the house next door and set up in my name and not the business name as per the existing broadband account. Ended up getting throttled as bill to wrong address was not being paid. Telstra don't seem to have any clue as to how to fix this to bring the billing back to the original account. Second to last call they agreed to disconnect the service from the wrong address and 'migrate' but all they have done is disconnect and now I have no internet to run my business. Even writing this, I am in tears. Have multiple case numbers and have spend countless hours trying to get fixed. At wits end. :-( :-( :-(
