Does anyone know what happens to existing mobile SIM and data SIM contracts when they expire? Will they automatically just 'stay the same'? (Ie. same monthly cost will be billed, same service provided) There is currently no way to contact Telstra to find out and I don't want all my business mobile devices to stop working in 1 week!

Hi Tug-Boat,
Your service will stay the same (you won't be disconnected).
You'll be billed the same monthly cost....except if you had a discount for the service's for the life of the contract.
I know Telstra was offering a $60 mobile phone plan contract with a discount of $10 for 12 month's.
If you were on something like this, then you'd lose the $10 discount and have to pay $60 per month once the contract ends.

They continue to work, if you were paying for handsets usually this will be reduced.
Often you will get a call at sometime and can possible get a better deal without signing a new contract.

I Recently had my Sim and data expire in which it continued to run and not disconnect.
I was on $49/month but my plan gave me a $10 discount in which I was paying $39/month. After it expired, my plan continued to run but the discount was removed and continued on $49/month.
