Difficulty to have direct contact Telstra for information

I had a general question about a pre-paid sim card to ask so via the app I asked a question to to the virtul assistant.  Absolutely useless unless you ask a question a 2 year old will comprehend.  It did put me through to a human, who was equally useless.  They wanted me to tell them my name, date of birth, Account number and other personal details.  I replied this was a general question for which they did not need to know these details as I dont like giving out personal data unnecessarily.  Without any answer, they terminated the conversation.  Thankfully I got the answer via Crowd Support, an excellent way to get answers.  I'll spread the word.
