How do I stop Outlook taking control of my Bigpond emails

For a few years after installing MS Office on laptop some of my BigPond emails now are sent from Outlook BigPond whilst some send from BigPond only.  How can stop Outlook from controlling my BigPond emails without loosing saved emails?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you

Hi @Orange1

I'm not 100% sure of what you are asking.

But if you want your Bigpond emails to stay on the Bigpond server then you need to change the settings for your Bigpond email address in Outlook to use POP instead of IMAP.

For email settings see below.

My body's absorbed so much hand sanitizer that when I pee, it cleans the toilet. 🙂
