Is there major delays with orders?

I ordered a replacement handset last Friday and still haven't received a confirmation. I was initially told the order would be processed the same day. I'm now told the "back of house" team are processing the order. I noticed on Facebook others having issues with orders. Is it simply just staffing issues? Or more needs to be done with the telco's IT system?

That will be due to the current back log with Australia Post/Startrack.


Startrack have also been going on strike lately for better pay/conditions and Telstra uses that courier service for many of it's outbound parcels.

Footnote: I dont work for Telstra, I just try to help out fellow Telstra customers.
