Mobile Number Hacked

My mobile number has been used to make a Scam Robot Call (you know the one....your tax file number has been cancelled, to avoid the Supreme Court press 1....).  What can I do now?

Should I just get a new number?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: Mobile Number Hacked

Yes, you should get a new number. Telstra do have a security department. If you receive no response, the TIO would be of use as this is a serious matter, though not Telstra's fault in relation to the number high-jack.
