My bigpond.com email has been working effortlessly on Outlook for years, but since Office 365 became Microsoft 365, something has changed in Outlook. I lost all my contacts, my saved emails and now I cannot sync my bigpond account to Outlook. When placing the POP account details in as per the bigpond webpage, I get the following message: unable to reach your email provider. Check your server settings.
I have checked and double checked, but still I get the same message. Is there something I have missed?

This is a problem being shared by many people, so I don't believe you have done anything wrong. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix it.

So the advice I give is my own, In my own time, Guided by my own experience/knowledge.
