Telstra $150 sim kit

Today I brought a $150 prepaid Telstra sim kit. I activated the sim and noticed I chose prepaid mobile broadband. I actually want to be able to make phone calls and text messages too. Now that it’s activated, am I able to change it to a prepaid mobile plan??

You will need to contact Accounts/Billing. You can do that via the Telstra app or by calling 13 22 00 and say "accounts" to the bot lady. (Best to call during business hours from my experience).


I'm not sure if they can change it over without supplying you a new blank SIM though? But, they should be able to advise you what can and cannot be done either way.

Phone support would be 9am-7pm Mon-Fri (Eastern time).

The My Telstra app messaging service (blue chat bubble on the GET HELP page) is 24/7.
