Telstra stealing my money

I couldn’t make calls when I recharged my usual $40 first time this has happened

instead of helping in any way on the Telstra app they’d  just stop messaging

now my $40 recharge that I do manually has changed with no bloody authority to

$60 automatic debit each month  that I’ve never had never asked for never set up

but Telstra think it’s ok to go into my bank account and steal  $60 a month

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: Telstra stealing my money

Hi there, definitely doesn't sound like an ideal situation.

Just to clarify, have they set up a $60 auto-recharge on your service? You said you weren't able to make calls with the original recharge, have you been able to make calls since?

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.
