Apple Music using data allowance
Why is Apple Music being metered when I am only streaming?
the streaming of the Music will be data free via the Apple Music service when connected to the Mobile network on a Pre-Paid offer.
Data charges apply for downloading the app and Non-music streaming use such as downloads, video streaming and social interaction.

Re: Apple Music using data allowance
Hi @Milo6,
Appreciate the concern with your Apple Music data. It should not be metered while directly connected to the Telstra mobile network.
Our Mobile Faults team can assist if your iPhone is specifically using your Telstra data allowance while streaming and they can be reached any time on 132200 (say mobile fault) or via Live Chat here: https://tel.st/9utw3 from 7am-midnight EST.
