Cancel my account

Hi I wish to cancel my account with Telstra from the UK so cannot ring the support hotline.

I previously in Australia on the 26th September went through the steps and had a reference number of INT1-2633359686652. The operator informed me that he had switched my plan onto a pre paid mobile with 0 credit.

Months later after telstra called me in the middle of the night, i check my account and this is not the case.

This does not show my account as cancelled on my login online and has not cancelled my account. This means I have been invoiced for a service I had contacted telstra to cancel. I spoke with Lee Jerome for reference.

How do I get in contact to let them know I do not have a mobile plan and that their invoicing may not be accurate. I am posting on here as have exhausted every way to contact them and their internal message boards are not replying. It seems as if Telstra make it very difficult/ impossible for you to cancel so they can continue to try to invoice you. This seems very dodgy and bad behavior from the company if so.

Nobody at Crowdsupport has access to Account information or Billing Systems.


You would need to send a message using the My Telstra app on your mobile (blue icon, bottom right of Get Help screen) and if Codi redirects you, type "Speak to a consultant" and you should be transferred tot eh queue to chat with a human.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
