Data allowance sudden increase

My data allowance suddenly went from 20gb to 70gb. No warning as to why. Just a text message saying now I had 70gb.

I am still under contract until November 2019.

What's going on Telstra? Have I been moved onto a new plan?

You'll need to speak with the mobiles billing team on 13 22 00

I tried the 24/7 chat and also phoned and the staff could not give me a straight answer. I ended up going into a Telstra store and they suspected that Telstra are just doing a courtesy upgrade because of the new plans they're rolling out.

Yep they were completely useless and had no idea what was going on. I swear a few years back I spoke to call center reps that were based in Australia and not in India or the like.
